Mr. S. Wayne Lewis, age 80, of Christiana, TN died Thursday, March 22, 2018. Mr. Lewis was a native of Christiana and was the son of the late Sam D. and Ruth Beasley Lewis. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Earlene Barnes, Mae Lewis, and Jeraldine Lewis.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, March 26 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Byron Lawrence and Bro. Jeff Adcock will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery at Christiana.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife Kathryn Marston Lewis; daughters, Renee Curtis and her husband Jamey of Christiana, Rhonda Cummins and her husband Randy of Christiana; sister, Freeda Kitchens of Donelson, TN; grandchildren, Leigha Moltz and her husband Alex of Christiana, Ryan Leath of Murfreesboro, Elyse Jensen and her husband Devon of Bell Buckle, TN, Dray Curtis of Christiana, Anna-Kate Curtis of Christiana, Lauren Cummins of Christiana; and great-grandchildren, Madden, Bryxton, Lawson, and Avalyn.

Mr. Lewis was a member of the Fosterville Church of Christ and also attended New Center Grove Church of Christ in Estill Springs, TN. He was a retired insurance executive, but his first love was farming. He was a graduate of Christiana High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 25 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Active pall bearers will be Larry Barnes, Joe Ed Crowell, Dray Curtis, Tony Helton, Chris Hillis, David Kitchens, Ryan Leath, and Bentley Porterfield. Honorary pall bearers will be Barry Alexander, Don Alexander, Mike Alexander, Bhryle Broiles, Randy Cummins, Jamey Curtis, Charlie Davenport, Douglas Helton, Sue Helton, Howard Leonard, Pat Marston, Ron Marston, Mike Messick, Alex Moltz, John Morgan, Brian Smith, and Rick Williams.
