Ruthie Nell Walker age 78 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2015. A native of Haywood County, she is preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Carl C. Walker. Mrs. Walker is survived by her sons; Carl Ricky Walker and his wife Paula of Almaty, Kaz., Michael E. Walker of Smyrna, John David Walker of Smyrna, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers; Earl Stanley and Harris Hughes, Jr. both of Brownsville, Tennessee. Mrs. Walker was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and was retired from Tennessee Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be 4:00pm until 8:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Todd Kirkland officiating.
