Ruth G. Stanley, age 92 of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday September 20, 2025. She was a native of Cheatham County, TN She moved to Murfreesboro in 1961 and was the daughter of the late Veron and Hazel Gupton. Mrs. Stanley was also preceded in death by her husband Billy E. Stanley, the Dr. Pepper distributor of Rutherford County.

She is survived by her son ,Michael E. Stanley and wife Alice. Granddaughters, Bonnie Boykin and husband Mark, Jane Alaba Carter and husband Alex; grandson Beau A. Stanley and wife Jackie; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Emma Stanley; sisters, Peggy Justice and husband Wayne, and Frances Gafford.

Mrs. Stanley worked at the Rutherford County Courthouse for 30 years. She was very involved with the Rutherford County Democratic Women, and the American Business Women's Association. She also Volunteered with Hospice.
