Ruth Gordon Reed Morgan, age 78, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Christian Care in Smyrna. A native of Hartsville, TN she was the daughter of the late Maut and Eva Reed. She is also preceded in death by her child Linda Darlene Morgan, sister Jean Reed and two brothers Tom Reed and Maut Reed Jr. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rick Chambless will officiate. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, Orlinda Morgan; daughter, Beverly (John) Joan Ratliff of Smyrna; son, Terry (Rita) Lee Morgan of Murfreesboro; Amanda (Bo) Parker of Smyrna; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
