Ruth Hilliard's Obituary
Ruth Hilliard, age 78 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday July 31, 2018. She was a native of Walter Hill and was the daughter of the late Garland and Maggie Vanony Casteel, also preceded in death by her brothers, James and Martin Lee Casteel; great-grandchild, J.C. Hilliard. Mrs. Hilliard was retired from General Electric.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ben Hilliard; children, Mack Hilliard of Murfreesboro, Allen Hilliard of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Amy Hale and husband Michael of Gladeville, Stevie Hilliard of Murfreesboro;great-grandchildren, Caleb Hilliard, Nevaeh Hilliard, Blake Hilliard; sister, Peggy Wolfe of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be 4PM-8PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
