RUTH HILL, age 93, of Murfreesboro, died January 17, 2012. Mrs. Hill was a native of Norton, VA, and daughter of the late Fred and Victoria Goode Day. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, 1624 River Rock Blvd, Murfreesboro. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, TN, Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter, Janice Daugherty and her husband Jackson of Huntington, WVA, and son, Carl Hill and his wife Colleen of Murfreesboro; sisters, Virginia Hamilton of Knoxville and Leota Beason of Colorado; grandchildren, Lisa Elchick, Linda Rosas, and Kelly Hill; and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hill was married to the late Reubin Ward Hill. Mrs. Hill was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Hill may be made to The American Heart Association.
