RUTH HOLDEN HAYNES age 90 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday October 20, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Haynes was a native of the Deason Community in Bedford County, and was the daughter of the late Luther D. and Sarah Louise Lamb Holden. Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband Grady R. Haynes who died June 17, 2000. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 till 1:00 Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Julian Goodpaster will officiate. Mrs. Haynes is survived by her sons Larry Haynes and wife Carolyn, Terry Haynes and wife Lisa all of Murfreesboro, her daughter Marlene Young and husband John of Brentwood, grandchildren Grady R. Haynes II, Curt N. Haynes, Justin B. Luffman, Josh M. Luffman, Robert J. Haynes, Kristin N. Haynes, great grandchildren Caroline Haynes, Harris Haynes, Haley Madison Luffman, Holden Haynes Luffman, Hudson Hoover Luffman. Mrs. Haynes was a member of the Church of Christ and was devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful Christian. The family wishes to thank the staff at Adams Place for there generous care and kindness.
