Ruth Fellman, age 87, of Smyrna, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2015. A native of Bucks County, PA she was preceded in death by her parents, Howard H. and Grace Lapp Hoffman; son, Barry Fellman; daughter, Karen Bunting; and two brothers, Kurt and Elwood Hoffman. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother W.D. Thomason will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery in New Britain, PA at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Fellman is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Carroll Fellman; son, David Fellman and his wife Andrea of Port Jervis, NY; daughter, Chris Skinner and her husband Bryan of Murfreesboro, TN; and two grandchildren, Danielle and Alex Skinner both of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Fellman attended Stones River Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a member of the women's sewing group at church and took great pride in knitting and craft sales. She was fond of gardening and was known for her green thumb. Mrs. Fellman was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The family wishes to express great gratitude to Christian Care Center in Smyrna and the staff of Alive Hospice for the love and support they gave to Mrs. Fellman. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Fellman can be made to the Stones River Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN.
