Mrs. Ruth Dial, age 94, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Ruth was born in Rutherford County, TN to the late Frank and Carrie Carter Tolbert. Mrs. Dial was a life-long resident of Rutherford County and faithful member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ. She was the owner of The Flower Center and also worked for General Electric and American General Insurance Company.

Mrs. Dial is survived by her children, Betty Ann Mitchell and her husband Clarence of Murfreesboro, Teresa Stone and her husband Jack of Lebanon, TN, Benny Carlton and his wife Sheila of Gallatin, TN, and Pam Brame and her husband Michael of Lebanon, TN; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dial, in 1994.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on her 95th birthday Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Jim Creech will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
