RUTH DAKOTA COUNTS McREYNOLDS, age 89, of Murfreesboro and formerly of Smyrna, died January 14, 2014. She was a native of Wake Co., North Carolina and daughter of the late Horace and Eula Holt Alewine. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Trinity Christian Church in Smyrna with Rev. Marshall Gupton officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday until service time at Trinity Christian Church. Mrs. McReynolds is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) McReynolds; sons, Larry (Wynnifred) Counts, Murfreesboro, and Mike (Pat) Counts, Murfreesboro; daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Winsett, Manchester; sister, Ann McKinney Brock, Raleigh, NC; brother, William (Jane) Alewine, Holiday, FL; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. McReynolds was a member of Trinity Christian Church. Pallbearers will be Ricky Greenberg, Wes Counts, Chris Counts, Bill Brown, Connley Dykes, Kenneth Victory, Charles Pearcy,and Clyde Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Circle Sunday School Class at Trinity Chrisitan Church.
