Russell William Lee, age 65, of Murfreesboro died Saturday July 20th after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a native of Nashville, Tennessee and was preceded in death by parents Kay William Lee and Lillian Clark Lee and by uncle and aunt I.H. Reed and Vera Lee Reed who raised him after his mother's death when he was four. Mr. Lee attended Vanderbilt University and received a B.A. and a M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee. He was employed as the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Lebanon. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Mr. Lee is survived by fiancée, Pat Clayton Garner and her children, LeAnne, Carrie, and John, all of Murfreesboro. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00pm with a memorial service at 4:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel on Sunday July 28.
