Russell Lyon Jones, age 59, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He was born in Boise, Idaho and was a resident of Rutherford County. He worked at the VA Hospital as the IT Project Manager. Russell attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Clifford Jones and Maxine Evelyn Lyon Smith; and sister, Christie Jones Briggs. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Hafen Jones; sons, Casey Michael Jones, Tyson Clifford Russell (Jacky) Jones, Caden Kensley Jones; daughters, Brittany Cheree' (Nathan) Payne, Jendee Lydia Jones, Mischalet Madison Jones (Jeremey) Whalen, Taecia Alissa Jones (Nicholas) Jensen; brother, Jim Jones; sister, Julie Jones Hess; and nineteen grandchildren.
