Rushing Graham, age 89, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. A native of Crowville, LA he was the son of the late, Abner and Mattie Rushing Graham. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Rushing Andrew Graham.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Woodbury Road Baptist Church.  Brother Monty Kapavik and Brother James Hall Youree will officiate. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Genevieve Curry Graham; sons, Lee Graham of Spring Hill, TN and Olen Graham and his wife Sharon of Decatur, MS; daughter, Ruth Walker and her husband William Walker Sr. of Walter Hill, TN; sister, Eris Parker of Shreveport, LA; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Graham was a member of Woodbury Road Baptist Church. He was a member of the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Graham was a self-employed carpenter for many years and could do anything with wood. He also farmed and was a welder. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.

Lee Graham , Olen Graham, William Walker Jr, David Johnston, Chase Burt, and Jeff Young will serve as pallbearers. Kris L. Graham will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mr. Graham can be made to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Woodbury Road Baptist Church.
