Ruby Mae Williams Beene, 86, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born on October 9, 1923 in Haynesville, Louisiana. Her parents were the late Joseph Washington Williams and Dora Clark Williams. She was married to the late Otha Gladney Beene. During World War II, she worked as an aircraft riveter in an airplane factory in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Beene moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2006 from Magnolia, Arkansas where she had resided for over forty yrs. She was a member of the North Boulevard church of Christ. She is survived by four sons and their wives: Ronald (Dinah) Beene, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Richard (Teresa) Beene, Rhinelander, Wisconsin; Russell (Sue) Beene, Lubbock, Texas; Randall (Sandra) Beene, Monte Vista, Colorado. Seven grandchildren and their spouses: Rhonda Beene Wingerter, Richelle Beene, Kristy (Michael) Jimenez, Amy (Jamie) Michaels, Marci Beene, Jake (Joy) Beene, and Ryan (Ruth) Beene. Nine great-grandchildren: Trevor & Marshall Wingerter, Grant Gilbert, Ashton Renn, Kalynn, Kaden, & Koby Jimenez, William & Abigail Michaels. Surviving siblings Marshall Ray (Evelyn) Williams; Mary (Bob) Broom; and sister-in-law Gerry Williams. Preceded in death by sisters Syble Marie Williams and Glenell Williams Ellis; and brother Joseph Milton Williams. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at the Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. Visitation with family will be from 9 " 10 am. Pallbearers are Mrs. Beenes sons Ronald, Richard, Russell, and Randall; grandsons, Jake and Ryan; and great grandsons Trevor and Marshall Wingerter. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Twin Cities Memorial Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana.
