RUBY ALENE WATSON WATKINS age 80 of Murfreesboro, died Friday September 18, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Elisha Thurman and Mary Magdalene Watson. Graveside services will be 1:00PM Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Watkins is survived by husband Horace D. Watkins, sisters, Pat Carlisle of Whitleyville, TN, Elizabeth (Walter) Goard of Nashville, TN, Wanda (Larney) Wilson and Beverly (Les) Barker both of Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Watkins was a member of the Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two children and a sister. Pallbearers will be nephews.
