Ruby Vaught, age 89 of Murfreesboro died Sunday. She was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Robert Ernest Johnson and Ella Mae Ferrell Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Fred Vaught; son, Sam and brothers, Elmer Ray, Derwood, Jim Henry,Teemus, Albert and Robert Johnson and sister, Mary Ann Cluck.

Mrs. Vaught is survived by her children; William Bess, Walter Bess Mildred Parker, Jewel Bess, Clemetine Tackett, John Bess, Joshua Bess, Arlan Bess, Charles Bess, Paul Bess, Angela Clark, Freddie Vaught, Mae Williamson, Roy Vaught, Nelson Vaught, Rex Vaught; brothers, Shelah Roy Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Barrett Johnson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 4 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 2PM until 4PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
