Ruby L. Timmons, age 93, of LaVergne, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. A native of Hartsville, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Velie Reeves England; husband, George Timmons; one sister; and four brothers. A graveside service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Brother Jon Gary Williams will officiate. Mrs. Timmons is survived by her daughter, Teresa Fergus and her husband Donnie of LaVergne, TN; grandchildren, Amanda McAlister and her husband Tim of Gallatin, TN and Amber Fergus of LaVergne; great grandson, Landon Gray Fergus of LaVergne; sister, Mary Waldron of LaVergne, TN; brother, Jimmy England and his wife Joyce of Murfreesboro, TN; along with many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Timmons was a member of the LaVergne Church of Christ. She took great passion in quilting and was a very loving mother and grandmother. Kenny England, Mike England, Jerry England, Ricky Clark, David Clark and Taylor Waldron will serve as pallbearers. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Timmons may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. all at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
