Ruby Evelyn Pease, 91, Smyrna, TN. formerly of Lees Summit, MO. passed away April 6, 2011. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by funeral services at 3:00, pm, Monday, April 11th at Park Lawn Funeral home 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. Ruby was born March 7, 1920 in a coal mining camp in Harlan County, KY. to William and Pearlee (Wilson) Cox. She had worked for Bendix as an electronic assembler before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Howard Pease. Survivors include her daughter, Judi Brown; grandson, Todd Brown and his wife Chantane; granddaughter, Lori Ewing; 7 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Christine Smith and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
