RUBY YOUNG MAURER age 92 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Cave Springs, GA. and the daughter of the late James R. and Hattie Mae Williams Young. She is preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Maurer. Mrs. Maurer was a member of The Church of God ( Anderson Ind.) and was a devoted wife and mother. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Reverend Morgan Davis will officiate. Entombment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Maurer is survived by her son Ron (Jacque) Maurer of Murfreesboro and her daughter Dianne (Jim) French of Murfreesboro, two sisters Lucy Laughman of York, PA, and Dorothy Tapp of Summerville, GA. Four grandchildren Suzanne French, Michael (Sara) French, Robert (Lisa) Maurer, and Jeremy Maurer, and five great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
