RUBY TRAVIS LOVVORN age 82 of Antioch, TN died Friday February 6, 2009. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Wilmer C. and Mary Alice Shipp Travis. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Richard Lovvorn and Jimmy Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband, William P. Lovvorn, son and daughter in law, Ronnie and Lynn Lovvorn of Greenbrier, TN, daughter and son in law, Carol and Jimmy Frizzell of Gainesboro, TN. Mrs. Lovvorn is survived by grandchildren, Daniel Frizzell and his wife Crystal, and Stephanie Frizzell, and great grandchild, Taylor Frizzell, brothers, Tim Travis of Woodbury, TN, Butch Travis of Antioch, TN, Joe Travis of Murfreesboro, TN, Tony Travis of Smyrna, TN, Johnny Travis of Milton, TN, and Jerry Travis of Smyrna, TN, and sister, Flora Gunnels of Smyrna. Mrs. Lovvorn was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a retired supervisor for the department of purchasing for the state of Tennessee.
