RUBY KATHERINE LORANCE age 93 of Murfreesboro, went home to be with her Lord and savior Tuesday April 12, 2011. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Sol and Ida Flemming Hill. Mrs. Lorance is survived by her daughter Shirley (David) Jones, son James Underwood both of Murfreesboro, three grandchildren Karen Jones, Kathy Lester, Clifford Underwood all of Murfreesboro, four Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandchild, two Sisters Polly (Bill) Boyd of Brentwood, Maggie Mai Burns of Nashville, and her three brothers James Hill, Grady Hill, and Eddie Hill all of Murfreesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband Dorris Lorance in 2001, Sisters Elizabeth Wells, Virginia Cricket Gannon, Lucille Pitts, and two Brothers Thomas Hill, and John Hill. Mrs. Lorance was of the Church of Christ faith. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until Funeral time at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Teb Batey will officiate.
