ROY LEE WEST, JR. age 45, of Lavergne, Tn. died June 22, 2009 at StoneCrest Medical Center. He was born in Savannah, Tn. and was the son of the late Roy Lee West, Sr. and Betty Sandlin West. He is survived by his wife, Pam West; two sons, Roy Lee West, III and Jackson Daniel West of Lavergne; two daughters, Kasandra Jean Wintjen and Jessey Lee Wintjen of Lavergne; sisters, Mary Catherine West and Jana Parker of Smyrna; one grandchild, Keely Wintjen. Funeral services 2 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro with Ronald Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna, Tn. Visitation with the family 4-8 pm Thursday. Mr. West was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Andrew West. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a sales manager with Industrial Sensors and controls.
