Mr. Roy Scruggs, age 64, of Smyrna, TN passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Davidson County, TN to the late John Thomas and Flora Pope Scruggs. Mr. Scruggs worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting as much as he could.

Mr. Scruggs is survived by his daughter, Donna Davis and her husband Terry of Rockvale, TN; fiancé, Beverly DeVone of Smyrna; grandchildren, Peyton Davis and Watson Davis of Rockvale; brothers, Mike Scruggs and his wife Diane and John Scruggs and his wife Ruth of Rockvale; nephews, Michael Scruggs and Jimmy Scruggs; and nieces, Dena Lloyd, Leanne Knox, and Jennifer Cronkhite. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will take place Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 3:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
