Roy Melvin Knight, age 73 of Murfreesboro died Sunday September 22, 2013. He was a native of Pomfret Connecticut and preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Robbins Knight; sister, Charlotte Gilman, and son-in-law, Bruce DeCosta. Mr. Knight was retired from International Paper in Murfreesboro, and a veteran of United States Air force. He is survived by his wife of 51years, Esther Knight; daughters, Ronda DeCosta of Murfreesboro, Pamela O'Brien and husband John of Ohio; April Napier and husband Roger of Hohenwald; son, Wesley Knight of Murfreesboro; brother, Warren Knight of Connecticut; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
