ROY ALAN AL BAUCOM, age 45 of Smyrna died Friday October 16, 2009. He was a native of Smyrna and worked for Jeffreys Painting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mavis Baucom. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Don Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Roy Alan (J.R.) Baucom, Jr. and his wife, Danielle of Smyrna, Justin Lee Baucom, and Lacey Sulls both of LaVergne; father, William J. Baucom, Sr. of Smryna; brother, William (Jay) Baucom, Jr. and his wife Sandy of Smyrna; sisters, Kathy Tinkham and her husband, Rick, Kentucky, Nancy Rhea Wray and her husband Raleigh Welch of Murfreesboro, grandmother, Margaret Zahn of McMinnville.
