Rosemary Jean Unruh age 86 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away November 17, 2012. A daughter of the late Willard and Edith Clites she was born December 11, 1925 in Fresno, CA and was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Unruh, two sisters, a brother and a son Patrick A. Rooney. Survivors include a son Michael (Elizabeth) Rooney of Cave Junction, OR; daughter in law Alice Rooney, Murfreesboro; three grandchildren Christy (Jim) Owens, Katy (Bruce) Perry all of Murfreesboro and Alex Rooney, Modesto, CA; four great-grandsons Gage, Logan, Chase Lozano and Cooper Perry all of Murfreesboro. Prior to moving to Tennessee in 2006 to live with her son and his family she was an 80 year resident of Stockton, CA and worked many years at the Tip Top Sandwich Shop in downtown Stockton until she bought it from her aunt Gen in 1960. She was a past president of the N.D.G.W. Joaquin Parlor #5; past president of the Emblems Club and a member of the Iris Club of Elks BPOE # 218 as well as volunteering at the Discovery Shop for the American Cancer Society. Arrangements for a memorial service in Stockton will be announced in June of 2013. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN.
