ROSE C. YOST, of Murfreesboro, died Sept, 21, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Yost was a native of Warrick, RI, and daughter of the late Pasco and Julia Riccitelli Henry, Sr. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Tony Hutson and Bro. Joel Young officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Yost is survived by sons, Jack E. (Carol) Yost Jr., Murfreesboro, and Bobby V. Yost, Sr., Murfreesboro; daughters, Shirley (Mac) McClanahan, Winchester, and Betty (David) Pennington, Dahlonega, GA; brothers, Johnny Henry, Grand Prairie, TX, and Pasco Henry, Jr., Warrick, RI; sister, Gloria Covington, Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jack Yost III, Brent Haws, Jason Yost, Robbie Yost, Evin Pennington, Ashley Pennington, Joey Yost, Katherine Yost, and Jaime Blaylock; and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Yost was the founder of Miles of Dimes, an organization that collected toys for underprivileged children at Christmas. She was also a member of the Red Hats, and the Ladies of the Moose Lodge. She was a member of Middle Tennessee Baptist Church. Mrs. Yost was a retired nurse technician from the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center.
