Rose Marie Jones, age 64 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Thursday November 5, 2015. A native of Readyville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jodie and Mary Josephine Davenport Jones. Ms. Jones was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Walter, Dallas, and Hoyte Jones, and sisters, Maggie Patterson and Louise Reed. Ms. Jones is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Peay of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Rodney Peay and his wife Kristi of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Nathan Peay, Josie Pennington, and Addison Peay all of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Bobby Jones of Manchester, TN, Ralph Jones of Wartrace, TN, J.C. Jones and Michael Jones both of Readyville, TN; and sister, Hattie Corzatt of Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Wooodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Earl Black officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery with Michael David Jones, Chris Jones, Daryl Chumley, Tommy Taylor, Brent Messick, Chris Cooper, Greg Pennington, and Stephen Haley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael McCardell and Kenny Chumley. Ms. Jones was of the Baptist faith, a 1969 graduate of Kittrell High School, and a homemaker.
