ROSE MARY HOLT PIETY GIBBS age 87, of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday October 30, 2011. A native of Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marie Kekelis Holt. Mrs. Gibbs is survived by her children, daughters Joy Puckett of Murfreesboro, Sharon Piety-Nowell (Sidney) of FL., her sons, Kenneth (Linda) Piety Jr., Richard (Marcy) Piety, both of Knoxville; Chris (Kim) Piety of Murfreesboro, 38 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Gibbs; son- in-law, James Puckett; her adopted mother, Elsie Vreeland; four sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be Tuesday 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with graveside services following at 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bud Mitchell and her son, Kenneth Piety, will officiate. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Gibbs an LPN, worked as an O.R. nurse for 10 years at Rutherford County Hospital and worked 17 years at Alvin C. York Medical Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
