ROSE ARNOLD CARTER age 83 of Lavergne, TN died Friday September 4, 2009. She was a native of Davidson County. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Brother Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Carter is survived by her sons; Donnie (Cindy) Carter of Smyrna, TN and Wayne Carter of Cleveland, TN, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Maxwell Carter, her brothers Eddie and Wilburn Arnold and her sisters May and Agnus Arnold. Mrs. Carter was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lavergne. Pallbearers will be Roy Allen, Harold Allen and her Church Family. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
