Ronnie Ellis, 61 of LaVergne died Friday at home. He was a native of Indiana, and was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Mildred Boley Ellis. Mr. Ellis had worked in the heating and air condition business and was a avid Jeff Gordon fan. He is survived by his children, Greg Ellis and wife Angel of Murfreesboro, Melissa Jones and husband John of Smyrna, Mickey Ellis and wife Dana of Smyrna; sisters, Cathy Ellis of LaVergne, Jody Ellis of Christiana; brothers, Keith Ellis of Antioch, and Kenny Ellis of Tullahoma, and nine grandchildren.
