Ronald Joseph Reams, born July 31, 1943, in Toledo Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold A. and E. Mae (Klein) Reams; wife, Emma Jo Reams; brother Thomas Reams.

Mr. Reams was 1961 graduate of Elyria High School and 1963 graduate of Lorain Technical School. He served in the United States Navy from 1964- 1968 during the Vietnam Conflict aboard the USS Orleck.

Mr. Reams began his working career for Gilford Instrument Company in Oberlin Ohio in 1968 and was transferred to Trenton NJ, Raleigh, NC and Memphis, TN. He was retired from CIBA/Corning and the J.M. Smucker Co.

Mr. Reams is survived by his daughter, Gina Butler and husband Robert Butler, Sr.; son, Ryan Reams, and wife Tabitha Reams; grandchildren, Robert Butler, Jr., Emma, Allie Trenton, Kaylee, Brayden, and Brooklyn; sister Sharon Meadows, of Elyria, OH; nephew Richard Bemiller, III of Elyria, OH and a niece Melanie Heacock of Valparaiso, IN.

A graveside service with Military Honor was held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on January 14, 2022. Woodfin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements. www.woodfinchapel.com
