Ronald Lee Merritt, age 77, of Murfreesboro passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was a native of Sioux City, IA and the son of the late Howard and Helen Christensen Merritt. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Michael Dwayne Hollis.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Mears Merritt, sons, Raymond (Sherry) Merritt of Murfreesboro, Michael Merritt of Carlsbad, CA, daughters, Rhonda (John) Mavis of Racine, WI, Iva Merritt of Louisville, KY, Veronica (Joe) Merritt of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, brother, Claude Merritt of CA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Merritt was a salesman and mechanic in Industrial Maintenance.
