Ronald C. Blansett, age 74 of Murfreesboro died Saturday July 9, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late, Raymond and Virginia Overall Blansett. Mr. Blansett was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and retired Purchasing Agent of Javelin Boat Company.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mae Blansett; children, Sherri Jenkins of North Carolina, Christy Fisher of North Carolina; step-children, Lee Qualls and wife Belinda of Murfreesboro, Kathy Downs and husband Ray of Murfreesboro, Terry Smotherman and husband Doug of Christiana; 14 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Blackburn of Camden, Virginia Langrehr of Utah, Jan Jay of Georgia, Renee Davenport of California.

A memorial service Sunday July 31st 2:00PM at St. Marks United Methodist Church.
