Ronald Barnett, age 82 of Smyrna died Thursday. He was a native of Hammond Indiana and was the son of the late, Jesse Kyle and Anna Nolan Barnett. Mr. Barnett was retired from U.S. Air force and Aircraft Mechanic with Capital Airlines. He is survived by his wife; Essie Barnett; children, David Barnett and wife Earline, Tom Barnett and wife Barbara, Linda Johnson and husband Don, and James Barnett and wife Terri; sister, Shirley Johnson; 9 grandchildren and15 great-grandchildren.
