Ronald B. Howell, age 80 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Tyler, Texas, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro after a brief illness. He was a native of the Wise Community in Van Zandt County, Texas and a son of the late Homer Dumont Howell and Helen Lewellyn Howell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by wives, Nelda Sue Carey Howell and Dorothy Cross Howell, a daughter, Kelli Howell, and a brother, Randy Howell.

Survivors include a son, Todd Howell of Murfreesboro; a granddaughter, Hannah Gee of McKinney, TX; and a brother, Roger Howell and wife Glenda of Tyler; several nieces, a nephew, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. Howell was a 1956 graduate of Tyler High School and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Tyler Pipe after 42 years of service.
