DR. ROLAND GUY GARLICK age 74 of Mission, TX died January 15, 2010, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. Dr. Garlick was a native of McCook, Nebraska and was the son of the late Guy B. and Irene Howell Garlick . Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Dr. Mike Norris will officiate. Dr. Garlick is survived by two sons, Daniel Garlick of Mission, TX and John Garlick of Frisco, TX; three daughters, Rebecca Murillo and Susanna Garlick both of Guadalajara, Mexico and Joanna Reed of Austin, TX; one brother George Garlick of Richland, WA, and 12 grandchildren. The following will serve as pallbearers, Elmer Fernandez, Ezequiel Salazar, David Acevedo, Alejandro Cordova, David Cortes, George Garlick, Kenneth Meek, Benjamin Garlick, Jonathan Garlick, and Joshua Murillo. Dr. Garlick was an evangelist out of Franklin Road Baptist Church. Dr. Garlick gave his life to take the Gospel of Christ to sinners and the teachings of Christ to saints. His ministry lives on in the lives of all of us who were touched and in those who will be touched by his life. As Dr. Garlick said in one of the last messages he preached, Jesus saves!
