Roger Stuart Wickes, age 76 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Stanton, Michigan and the son of the late Leroy and Winifred McConkey Wickes. Mr. Wickes is survived by his wife Wilma Stokes Wickes; sons MSGT Jonathan Wickes and his wife Amy of Murfreesboro, TN, Danny Helander and his wife Lisa of Milner, GA, Leroy Helander of Leesburg, FL; daughters Montana Greene and Husband Tim of Fredrick, CO, and Kathy Wickes of Staton, MI; grandchildren Brittinni Wickes from Siloam Springs, AR, Faith Wickes, Matthew Wickes, TJ Greene and Tayla Green. Mr. Wickes was a Unites States Army National Guard veteran and a retired Aerospace Engineer. A memorial service will be 11:00am, Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Chaplin Captain Robert Dunbar will officiate.
