Roger Dale Vaughn, age 61 of Murfreesboro died March 11, 2015. He was a native of Rutherford county and was preceded in death by his father, Henry Allen Vaughn, brother, Dorris Allen Vaughn and longtime companion Debra Jones. Mr. Vaughn had worked for McCormick Truck Lines. He is survived by his children, Rachael DeLair and husband Walt of Hartsville, Stacy Jones and husband David of Texas; mother, Maggie Layne Vaughn; sisters, Geraldine Vaughn of Murfreesboro, Darlene Davis and husband Bobby of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Danielle, Natalie and Zachary, Daphne, Billy. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Vaughn Layne Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00PM until 8:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
