Roger Dale Underwood , age 60 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday June 23, 2017. A native of Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Robert E. Underwood and Clara Bennett Underwood Sutton. Roger was also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Underwood.

Roger is survived by his wife, Julie Harrison Underwood; sons, Brian Dale Underwood, and his wife Sophia of Asheville, NC, and Jordan Underwood, and his wife Philicia-Rose of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Amy Lynn Underwood Herman, and her husband Scot of Knoxville, TN; brother, Robert Lee Underwood, and his wife Judy of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Bobbie Swift, and her husband George of Smyrna, TN, and Patricia Goins of Rockvale, TN; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Haley, and Harley Underwood, and Braxton McCullough.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday July 1, 2017, at Kingdom Ministries Church 675 E. Jefferson Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Pastor Darrel Whaley will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service at Kingdom Ministries.

Roger was a member of Kingdom Ministries and was owner and operator of A-1 Garage Door Services.
