Roger Lee Barb, age 71, of Murfreesboro, passed away August 10, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.  He was a native of Jerome, VA and son of the late Steward Donald and Sarah Elizabeth Miller Barb.  A memorial service will be held ? ?at 6:30 PM Saturday August 20, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2303 Jones Blvd in Murfreesboro with Rev. Dr. John Purdue officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM Saturday August 20 at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Mr. Barb is survived by his wife  of 40 years Margaret R. Barb; son, Kevin Wayne Barb of Broadway,  VA; brother, Richard Eugene Barb of Basye, VA;  sister, Doris Barb Brannon (Steve) of Kennesaw, GA; four nieces, two nephews, 2 grand nephews, and one grand niece

Mr. Barb was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a retired truck driver.  He loved going on cruises and was a loyal Atlanta Braves fan.
