Roberta Hatcher Malone, age 60 of Murfreesboro, earned her wings on Monday, December 19, 2011. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Malone, sons, Donnie Smoot, Brian Clinton, stepdaughter, Brandi Malone, grandsons, Cody Smoot, Chase Clinton, sisters, Gracie Hatcher, Margie Dunnivant, Kathy Hatcher, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Heaton, parents, Robert and June Hatcher, sister, Peggy Finch, nephew, Robert Miles Cunningham, and Mom and Pop Malone. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Rev. Joe Sissom will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Patton, Jeff Hand, Bob Cole, Johnny Akins, James Hubbard, Jerry Hatfill, Timmy Malone, Jr, and Kevin Boyce. Mrs. Malone was a member of the First Free Methodist of Murfreesboro and a retired sales representative with Ingram Entertainment.
