ROBERT G. WEST age 75 of Smyrna, died Saturday, September 17, 2011. A native of Center Point, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Floyd and Mary Lou Grissom West. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Marshall Gupton officiating. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Mr. West is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Fleming West, daughters, Lisa (Phillip) Reasonover of Smyrna, Lori (Mark) Wade of Lewisburg, son, David West of AL., his nine grandchildren, Lindsay Stephens, Tyler Stephens, Derek Wade, Brittney Wade, Ryan Wade, Sabrena Jenkins, George Jenkins Jr., Aaron West, James West, 3 great grandchildren, and son-in law, George Jenkins of TX. He was preceded in death by daughter Robin West Jenkins. Mr. West retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
