Robert Maynard Vincent, Sr., age 79 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday February 28, 2012. He was a native of Detroit and was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly J. Vincent; son, Robert M. Vincent, Jr.; and parents, Frank and Clara Vincent. Mr. Vincent was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a loving father, husband, and an asset to his community. He retired from Procon and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his son, Richard A. Vincent and wife Chela Vincent of LaVergne, grandchildren, Jennifer Ball and Wendy Vincent ; great- grandchild, Haven Nelson; and daughter-in-law, Greta Vincent of Murfreesboro. Graveside service will be 3:00PM Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. John A. Hinkle, Jr., officiating.
