Mr. Robert Johnson Stinson, age 90, of Smyrna, TN passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was born in Pasquo, TN to the late John J. and Katie Usery Stinson. Mr. Stinson attended Harpeth Valley School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Thompson Machinery as the welding shop foreman.

Mr. Stinson is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Hilda Benward Stinson; children, John Stinson and his wife Gail of White House, TN, Paul Stinson and his wife Debbie of Hermitage, TN, Lydia Reynolds and her husband Mike of Franklin, TN, and Mathias Benward; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 12:00noon – 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00pm. Pastor Barry Kidd will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
