Robert "OJ" Stanley, age 42, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Brandie Stanley; mother, Joan Ratliff and her husband John; dad, Randy Chambless and his wife Lisa; father, Jim Stanley and his wife June; grandfather, Orlinda Morgan; children, Axton Stanley, Baylor Stanley, Madison, Landon and Keaton Anderson, Madison Dean; grandchild, Bently Carlos; brothers, Jon Chambless and his wife Stephanie, John Ratliff, Spencer Ratliff and his wife Lexi, Jeremy Ratliff and his wife Lauren, Garrett Ratliff and his wife Jenny; Hayden Chambless; Jonathan Gute; Kylie Gute; Nicholas Gute; mother-in-law, Lisa Hardin; sister-in-law, Brittney Driscoll along with many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Morgan and brother, Graham Ratliff.

OJ was a native of Smyrna and graduated from Smyrna High School in 1993 where he played football and baseball. He was a student at MTSU and played baseball there from 1994-1995. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. OJ attended World Outreach Church. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.  He loved his wife and children and spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. A graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Smyrna at Mapleview Cemetery.
