ROBERT D. SEWELL, age 74, of Smyrna, died December 15, 2011. He was a native of Newbern, TN and son of the late Lois T. and Alma Childress Sewell. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Sewell is survived by children, Victoria Garrett, Lebanon, and Michael Zlotnicki, Madison; brother, Lewis Sewell, Mississippi; grandchildren, Chris Zlotnicki, Sean Garrett, and Danielle Williams; and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Sewell was married to the late Barbara Anne Sewell who died in 2010. Mr. Sewell was a member of the Smyrna Lions Club and Sam Davis Masonic Lodge. He was a retired postman and an Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with a Masonic service at 6:00 PM.
