Robert Wade Royal, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 on his 52nd birthday. After surviving cancer for 11 years, he passed away peacefully from pneumonia. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Matthew Royal and Nancy Royal Vogel Spivey. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Vogel, and step-father, William R. Vogel, Sr. Wade is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Emory-Royal; sons, Dylan (Elizabeth) Royal, Colin Royal, and Lawson Royal; daughter, MaryCatherine Royal; brothers, Michael Royal and Barry (Sherry) Royal; sister, Elyse (Steve) Johnson; step-mother, Elaine Royal; step-father, Bobby Spivey; step-brother, William R. Vogel, Jr.; step-sisters, Patricia Garst and Sally Cason; mother and father-in-law, Gary and Frances Emory; brother-in-law, Timothy (Evonne) Emory; sisters-in-law, Theresa (Dennis) Cole, Susan (David) Weaver, Patricia (Todd) Walker, and Mary (David) Tuma, along with many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 4:00 PM Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Allen officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Wade was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and an Energy Engineer with Nissan.
