Robert Allen Ragland Jr., age 69, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2022. A native of Murfreesboro, he was the son of the late Robert Allen and Sue Munger Ragland Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robley Munger Ragland.

He is survived by his close friends, Donnie and Teresa Fergus, Tim and Amanda McAlister, and Amber and Landon Fergus.

Mr. Ragland was a proud retired veteran having served in the United States military. After his retirement he enjoyed being a Blacksmith for many years. He would often demonstrate his blacksmith skills at some of the local historical events including Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro and the Sam Davis Home in Smyrna along at many other historical places in middle Tennessee.

A graveside service will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery. A short visitation will be held at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.
