Obituary

JASON ROBERT MOSS, age 20, of Murfreesboro, died June 9, 2010 in Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at The First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro at 10:00 AM with Rev. Michael OBannon officiating. Burial will be in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Church. Robert is survived by his parents, Lee M. and Susan Ostroski Moss; brother, John Chase (Catherine) Moss, of Ramstein AFB, Germany; sisters, Katherine Moss (Chris) Alexander of Murfreesboro, and Laura Elizabeth Moss of Murfreesboro; uncles, Joseph Chase (Martha) Moss of Brentwood, and John Adams Moss of Nashville; cousins, Kim, Chase, and Sean Moss; niece, Kenna Moss, and nephew, Kyan Moss. Robert was a student at the University of Tennessee where he was a member of the Student Outdoor Leadership Experience. Robert was a graduate of Siegel High School where he was active in the marching band drum line. As a senior at Siegel, Robert was elected Big Man on Campus and Best Looking Senior. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Active pallbearers will be Sean and Chase Moss, Sean Knox, Jordan Taylor, Craig Baker, Graeham Jones, Robert Bray, and Reeves Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be the Siegel High School Drumline and the First United Methodist Church Youth Group and Youth Choir. Memorials in memory of Robert may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, the Siegel High School Band Boosters Club, or The Charity Circle of Murfreesboro.
